Fiona's Costumes

"Rita Hayworth" style

While Fiona's favourite historical period is the 1940s (where she takes great inspiration from her favourite movie stars: Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe and Madonna's Evita Peron), stunning period costumes are a passion with Fiona Harrison.

Before she became a professional singer, Fiona studied, and later worked as a hat designer, before progressing to clothes and accessories

Now she designs, collects and wears her elegant period costumes for the delight of the ladies and gentlemen in her audiences.

Her stage wardrobe currently includes at least 35 evening gowns, well over 200 pairs of shoes and many hundreds of jewels, handbags, gloves, fans, etc like the peacock fan shown in the 1920s photo (right).

Including several nostalgic army and naval uniforms of the 1940s, Fiona has at least one costume to represent each decade of the past century.

A few date back to the Marie Antoinette period of the 18th Century.
